Fall Energy Fair and Sustainable Homes Tour

Join the High Country Conservation Center for the third annual Fall Energy Fair on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ecoasis (County Road 450, next to 7-Eleven, in Breckenridge). This free drop-in event features displays and demonstrations about locally appropriate renewable energy and home energy efficiency solutions.

Experts in solar electric, wind, solar hot water systems and home energy audits will be on hand to answer your questions. Also on Saturday, is the annual Summit Sustainable Homes Tour.

This guided tour features three Frisco homes that exemplify the many options for sustainable building practices. You’ll be able to talk to homeowners and hear about their experiences directly.

Preregistration is required for the tour. Fee for the tour is $10 and all proceeds benefit High Country Conservation Center’s energy outreach programs. To sign up or find more information, please call (970) 668-5703 or e-mail jon@highcountryconservation.org
