Family thanks all who offered support in time of son’s death

Michael, Joelle and Taylor Dorsey, Silt

We recently lost our son, Jordan Michael Dorsey, in a plane crash and would like the opportunity to thank everybody in Summit County for their support.

All of the cards, phone calls, food and love extended to us during this most difficult of times has been overwhelming.

A memorial bench will be dedicated at the Garfield County Airport, Rifle, Colo., this summer.

Through your continued contributions and support we hope to establish a scholarship fund for aspiring pilots in Jordan’s memory in order for his dreams to continue on.

The memorial fund is being handled through Alpine Bank, 100 E. 4th St., Rifle, CO 81650.

Again, family and friends, we are truly blessed.
