FDRD’s Forest Clean-up Day on Swan Mountain Road Saturday

DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT

Volunteers are needed to help clean up one of Summit County’s most scenic roadways. The heavily used Swan Mountain Road passes through national forest land and will be visited this summer by thousands of people travelling between Breckenridge and Keystone. On Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friends of the Dillon Ranger District will be hosting a clean-up project between Sapphire Point and Summit Cove. The project will begin at 9 at the entrance to Prospector and Windy Point campgrounds. Interested volunteers can learn more and register online at http://www.fdrd.org.
