FIRC offering parenting class

The Family & Intercultural Resource Center is offering a six-week course for parents of children ages 5-12. Active Parenting Now is a curriculum focused on improving communication, cooperation and positive discipline techniques. Clases will be held Mondays, Sept. 13-Oct. 18 from 5:30-8 p.m. at Dillon Valley Elementary. The cost for the course is $48/ parent or $72/ couple and includes dinner and childcare.
