What a gift Summit County has: My wife and I were here for a short visit when emergency surgery necessitated nine days in the St. Anthony Summit Medical Center. The fabulous staff sets an example for how all hospitals should work as we were able to watch them focus completely on the patient and the family. Then we got to know Bristlecone, the not-for-profit home health care agency that serves Summit County. They have made our transition from the hospital to normal life so much easier. Their compassion, accessibility and breadth of services is impressive.

Local friends and family saw to it that we have housing as our short visit becomes almost a month. Thanks to all for such a great Summit County experience.
