Free backyard composting workshop

High Country Conservation Center will present its popular workshop on Backyard Composting on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Frisco Recreation Building at 110 3rd St. The workshop is free with donations gladly accepted. This workshop will cover all of the basics of composting, building an efficient pile and troubleshooting problems that may arise. Additionally the workshop focuses on the High Country and the special considerations that are needed for composting in our high altitude and dry climate. The workshop will conclude with a Q-and-A period, as well as information on the Compost Bin Sale where several styles of high-quality bins are available at greatly reduced prices.
