Free fraud seminar offered Nov. 25

Wells Fargo is holding two free sessions of a seminar about fraud detection Nov. 25 at the Holiday Inn in Frisco.

“The Buck Stops Here” seminar runs from 9 a.m. to noon and 1:30-4:30 p.m.

Attendees will learn about check fraud, credit card theft, fake identification and counterfeit bills. The expert panel includes Wells Fargo fraud investigators, local law enforcement and the United States Secret Service.



The panel will discuss the statistical impact of fraud, where counterfeit bills are today and how to report a fraudulent incident. An investigative agency will be displaying counterfeit tools such as scanners and pens.
