Free Hepatitis C testing at SCCC

DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT

The Colorado Center on Law and Policy (CCLP) has teamed up with Colorado Voices for Coverage ” a collaboration among the Colorado Consumer Health Initiative (CCHI), the Business Health Forum, the Colorado Progressive Coalition, and the Colorado Council of Churches – to conduct a groundbreaking study on affordability of healthcare and healthcare coverage in Colorado.

The project is concentrating on low- and moderate-income families because they are more likely to be uninsured. Also, as the state looks for ways to increase access to health care, decision makers must better understand what Coloradans can afford. This study will help ensure that lower- and moderate- income families and individuals have a voice in what is affordable when it comes to health insurance.

Workshop held Friday at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. at Lord of the Mountains Lutheran Church, 56 US Highway 6, Dillon. Particiants receive a $10 gift card.
