Free hunter education class in Granby

The Colorado Division of Wildlife is offering a free hunter education course at Granby Community Center, at the corner of Third and Jasper, on April 1, 2 and 3. Classes will run 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, April 1 and Friday, April 2 and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 3. Participants must attend all three classes and pass a test to receive a hunter education card.

Completion of hunter education is required for anyone born after Jan. 1, 1949 who wants to hunt or apply for hunting licenses in Colorado.

Advance registration for the class is required, and space is limited. To register or get more information, contact the DOW office in Hot Sulphur Springs at (970) 725-6200.
