Free meals available for kids now at Dillon Valley Elementary

Dillon Valley Elementary School is one of 635 summer meal sites open statewide that provide meals free of charge to all youth ages 18 and younger.
This includes one breakfast and one lunch per child per day and will be available Monday to Friday through Aug. 15. Recipients do not need to qualify or be enrolled in Summit School District schools to receive free meals.
Breakfast is served from 9-9:30 a.m., and lunch is served from 11:30-12:30 p.m. Meals must be eaten at the school.
A summer menu is available at Summit.Nutrislice.com.

Summit Daily is embarking on a multiyear project to digitize its archives going back to 1989 and make them available to the public in partnership with the Colorado Historic Newspapers Collection. The full project is expected to cost about $165,000. All donations made in 2023 will go directly toward this project.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference.
