Free sandbags for Breckenridge residents

DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT

Breckenridge residents may receive up to 25 filled sandbags to help keep their yards intact during spring runoff.

“These are areas which historically have high water challenges where residents have a stream or river running through, or near their property,” town spokeswoman Kim DiLallo said in an e-mail.

For more information on getting sand bags call the town public works department at (970) 453-3170 or e-mail anitah@townofbreckenridge.com.
