Friends of the Libraries store closing with great bargains

The Friends of the Summit County Libraries bookstore will close on January 31 and that will mean two weeks of bargain prices.The Library bookstore is known for its great values and low prices, accodring to manager, Kay Bullington. “All our books, which are already very inexpensive, will be half-price. This includes hard cover novels and classics, non-fiction, reference books, and children’s books,” she said.”If you need a birthday, anniversary, Valentine’s gift or want some books for your home, you won’t want to miss this sale,” Bullington said.The bookstore located next to Old Navy at the Silverthorne Outlet stores (the bookstore is located inside the History Museum) is closing because the space has been leased. From now until the end of January, the store will be open from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.Proceeds from book sales benefit the Friends of the Summit County Libraries and help pay for equipment, books and supplies for all the county’s libraries.
