Friends of the Library wants your books.
The spring book sale is scheduled for April 2-3 at the County Commons in Frisco and more books are needed.
The money generated from the book sale provides much-needed funds for the county libraries and is used to sponsor programs which add to the cultural life of Summit County. Books can be dropped off at the main library in Frisco and at the North Branch Library in Silverthorne before April 1.
The book sale, which is in the Buffalo Mountain Room at the County Commons, will open at noon on Friday, April 2, and continue until 6 p.m. On Saturday the sale is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Hardcover books are $2 on Friday and $1 on Saturday. Soft cover books are $1 on Friday and 50 cents on Saturday. Magazines and romance novels are 10 cents both days, and from 3-5 p.m. Saturday a bag of books is just $3.
