Friends Welcome recognizes winners
BRECKENRIDGE – Six exceptional Breckenridge employees and one Breckenridge business were recognized for outstanding customer service by Friends Welcome on Thursday, Dec. 13, during the Breckenridge Resort Chamber Ambassador Mixer, held at Beaver Run, in Breckenridge. November winners were described as employees that went the extra mile and a real strength of the Breckenridge community.In addition to honoring four outstanding guest service employees, Friends Welcome honored Laser Graphics as the Business of the Month. They will automatically be entered, along with the eleven other monthly winners, to win the Business of the Year Award.The outstanding employees that were recognized and rewarded were:n Craig Partnow – City Market “Craig is always friendly and helpful to everyone. It does not matter how busy the store gets, I always wait in his line because he always makes everyone feel welcome and special.” – Irina Garner, Breckenridge.”Craig connects with his customers as they come through the grocery line. He always goes the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need. His customer service is fantastic!” – Hollyanna and Elsa Bates, Breckenridge. n Ethan Swank – North Face & Gorsuch”We came into North Face and Ethan was with other guests. He acknowledged us and pointed us in the direction we wanted to go. His product knowledge was fantastic. He gave us great tips on things to do in town and shared some funny stories with us. He was so upbeat and friendly that we came back and purchased things three separate times!” – Helen Bradley, Lakeside, Mont.
“We shop at North Face & Gorsuch because of Ethan. He always can answer any product question and does so honestly. He wants his customers to be happy and to return, and we do! We walked into Yikes and Paul gave us a very warm welcome! He asked us what we were shopping for and took us right there. He also told us about the sales. He talked to us about our vacation and asked if we wanted any suggestions of what to do and were to eat. He gave us lots of great tips. Thank you for filling this gap in Breckenridge!” – Breckenridge business Breckenridge employees can be nominated for the Friends Welcome award by visitors, co-workers or supervisors or residents for demonstrating exceptional guest service at their place of work. Rewards for the three chosen employees include $100 worth of gift certificates for use in a variety of businesses in Breckenridge and a parking pass from the Town of Breckenridge.The Friends Welcome customer service training program is free to Breckenridge businesses and takes approximately 60 minutes to complete. Employees and businesses receive a certificate noting that they are Friends Welcome certified. Nominations for the Friends Welcome Rewards and Recognition Program are currently being taken.
