Frisco Adventure Park opens free public sledding hill

On Monday, April 21, the Frisco Adventure Park announced that it has opened up a free public sledding hill behind the Frisco Day Lodge.

With the tubing hill now closed for the season, snow cats have broken up the snow and spread it to the terrain park as well as the free sledding hill. According to the Adventure Park, the consistency of the snow this time of year does not make for great tubing, but is perfect for hard-bottomed sleds.

The free sledding hill can be accessed from sunrise to sunset. Guests are asked to bring their own sled or rent one for $10 from the Day Lodge. There is no lift access at the sledding hill, so guests must walk their sled back up to the top of the hill.

The Frisco Adventure Park plans to have the hill open as long as the weather allows.
