Frisco BBQ Committee seeking nonproftit partners

The Town of Frisco and the Frisco BBQ Committee are accepting applications for the 2011 BBQ Nonprofit Partnership. Nonprofit organizations with current 501(c)3 status are encouraged to inquire and apply.

The BBQ nonprofit partnership is a great opportunity to fundraise and market your organization. The nonprofit partners selected will have the ability to generate funds based upon the agreed partnership responsibilities; a total of $35,000 is available to be awarded to six Summit nonprofit organizations.

Info and applications are available online at For questions, contact the Town of Frisco Events Department at (970) 668-9132.

Summit Daily is embarking on a multiyear project to digitize its archives going back to 1989 and make them available to the public in partnership with the Colorado Historic Newspapers Collection. The full project is expected to cost about $165,000. All donations made in 2023 will go directly toward this project.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference.
