Frisco council meeting days to change

FRISCO – Frisco Town Council members have decided to move the dates of the council meetings from the first and third Tuesdays of the month to the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month.

Because of a desire to have Town Attorney Pat Tisdale attend each meeting, the meeting days are changing.

The change will start with the June 10 meeting, which is the second Tuesday of June.

According to Town Manager Alan Briley, moving the meeting days will provide more consistency in service and will reduce the fees charged by the town attorney. With the change in days, Tisdale will be able to attend both meetings of the month instead of sending another attorney from her firm and then spending extra time briefing and de-briefing. Tisdale is also the attorney for Lafayette, whose council also meets on the third Tuesday of each month.

Frisco Town Council meetings will still be held at 7 p.m. with a worksession that will usually start at 2 p.m. preceding each meeting.
