Frisco Town Council will accept final public comments on its budget before it goes to a final vote at tonight’s meeting at town hall.
The second readings of ordinances to levy general property taxes and to appropriate money to funds and agencies will be voted upon tonight. The first readings of each measure passed 4-1 at last week’s council meeting.
The town will also seek to secure a liquor license on behalf of the Frisco Adventure Park, which is slated to open Dec. 10 or earlier. The government-sponsored enterprise is expected to serve alcoholic drinks at its day lodge.
Council will vote on a first reading of an ordinance to appropriate $18,700 in anticipated building permit and plan review fees and $21,300 from the Summit County Housing Authority Fund to donate to the Summit County Housing Authority’s revolving loan program. Because this was a supplemental appropriation, the town is required to defray the expenses in excess of budgeted amounts.
Finally, council will vote on a first reading of an ordinance to amend the cabin housing portion of the town code to address density-related issues in the current code. The planning commission recommended
5-0 that the ordinance be passed.
The regularly-scheduled worksession before tonight”s 7 p.m. meeting was canceled, as no topics are available to discuss.
