Frisco follows county and lifts fire ban

FRISCO – The town council rescinded an emergency fire ban dating to June 15.The county commissioners and Dillon Ranger District of the White River National Forest also have lifted fire bans in time for the Fourth of July Weekend.In Frisco, burn permits through the Lake Dillon Fire Authority are still required for burning slash or other materials outside of enclosed fire circles.Fireworks are permitted, including sparklers. Public displays of fireworks that are permitted by the town and supervised will be allowed, as well.- Julie Sutor
