Frisco: Free diabetic workshop slated for Thursday

The Summit Community Care Clinic is offering a free educational workshop for diabetics and their family members on Thursday, from 5:30-7 p.m. in the Miner’s Creek Room of the Medical Office Building in Frisco. Come learn about how to use exercise to help control your blood sugar and live a healthier life. Rene Rogers, fitness coordinator of the Silverthorne Recreation Center will offer an informative, interactive presentation. Free Hemoglobin A1c tests and diabetic supplies/resources will be available to all attendees. For more info, call Brandi at the care clinic at (970) 668-6681.
