When: Sunday, Sept. 18; 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Frisco Bay Marina
Cost: Free to attend; $5 food and drink specials
On Sunday, Sept. 18, Frisco will host the inaugural Fall Locals’ Party and Brunch at the Frisco Bay Marina from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is a celebration of a well-played summer and beautiful fall, and will celebrate Frisco locals with “boats, bloodies and brunch.”
The Frisco Bay Marina’s lawn will be set up with long community tables for a brunch with $5 food and drink specials from the Island Grill, Tavern West and New Belgium. Bloody Marys, mimosas and traditional brunch food will be featured. Bluegrass and folk band, Meadow Mountain, will provide brunch music.
The highlight of this locals’ party will be the chance for Frisco locals to win a Dillon Reservoir adventure. Anyone with an ID proving Frisco residency is invited to enter into a drawing to win a lake adventure courtesy of the Frisco Bay Marina. Every 20 minutes, the Marina will give away everything from stand up paddleboard rentals to 14 person pontoon boat rentals to be used immediately. Locals should come prepared for an adventure and ready with friends who are willing to join them. Giveaways will also feature necessary boating accessories such as full coolers and captains hats.
“Frisco locals are always ready for adventure on a moment’s notice; this event marries that with one of our favorite amenities, the Frisco Bay Marina. Come ready to do everything from socializing with your friends and neighbors with good food and music to stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing or heading out on a pontoon boat,” said Nora Gilbertson, the town of Frisco events manager.
