Frisco is fine the way it is
December 15, 2005
My wife and I own a condo in Frisco on West Main. Our opinion as to the reason for the failure of the Home Depot question differs from what I have read in the Summit Daily News. As far as we are concerned, we were opposed to any project that would make a major change in the town. We love Frisco the way it is. I find all of our hardware needs at the stores in Silverthorne. The Home Depot store would have totally changed the face of Frisco. It would have been a “big box welcome” to the town instead of the present welcome to a quaint town nestled amid the beautiful Rocky Mountains. I think the town is well-managed and offers what most folks want in their Rocky Mountain home.
