Frisco man succumbs to heart attack

Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at the Frisco Bar and Grill for Paul “Luap” Smith, who died Sept. 23 of a heart attack. He was 49.

The longtime Frisco man graduated from Summit High School in 1972 and worked at various locations, most often as a cook at the Frisco Bar and Grill. He was an avid hiker and skier, spending much of his spare time in the forests around Summit County.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his brother, Richard, of New York.
