Frisco opens peninsula

FRISCO – Frisco officials announced Friday they will open the Peninsula Recreation Area – the skatepark, disc golf course and trails – today.

If weather and trail conditions deteriorate, however, town officials could close the recreation amenities at any time.

The Frisco Public Works Department reminds everyone that fire danger is a constant concern and to dispose of cigarette butts and other flammables in appropriate containers.

The town strictly enforces the leash law within in the peninsula area.
