Frisco overpass to close this week

FRISCO – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is closing the bridge at exit 203 in Frisco this week.Beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, the overpass will be closed to all traffic for rotomilling, paving and striping operations and to repair and replace the expansion joints. The bridge will reopen to traffic approximately noon on Wednesday.Drivers needing to access westbound I-70 from northbound SH 9 will need to use Main Street through Frisco and enter the I-70 at exit 201. Westbound I-70 drivers needing to exit to Highway 9 will have to continue west two miles to the Frisco/Main Street Interchange – exit 201. The ramps from Highway 9 to eastbound I-70 and from eastbound I-70 to Highway 9 will remain open to traffic while the bridge is closed. The bridge closure is part of the project that widened the ramp from Highway 9 to eastbound I-70 from one to two lanes. The entire project will be completed by the end of September.
