FRISCO – The town of Frisco and the Summit County Landfill will be accepting slash from town residents the week of July 8. Town residents and those from adjacent county subdivisions are encouraged to haul their slash to the town site located behind the Summit Stage Transfer Center or to the Summit County Landfill, located on Highway 6 just past Summit Cove.

Both sites are free and will accept only clean slash hauled in private vehicles; no slash will be accepted from construction sites or stumps.

The hours for the free drop-off sites are in Frisco from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Monday, July 8 through Friday, July 12. The Summit County Landfill is open from 7 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. July 8-12.

In addition, the Public Works Department will be providing curbside pickup

of slash on Wednesday, July 10 for residents in the town limits only. Slash

should be left at the curbside by 9 a.m. and must be clean and no longer

than 6 feet.
