Frisco just launched its full schedule of free concerts the town will be putting on throughout the summer. The Rock the Dock event will kick off summer on Frisco Bay Marina’s Lighthouse Lawn, followed by Frisco’s 4th of July celebrations, featuring two concerts on Main Street on July 3 and July 4. Frisco’s Concert in the Park series will return to the Frisco Historic Park with 10 concerts on Thursdays from June 19 through Aug. 28.
Rock the Dock
This is a free concert on Frisco Bay Marina Lighthouse Lawn to celebrate the official start of summer with free lawn games, food vendors and drink specials from the Island Grill. The event will be June 12 at 5:30 p.m. The band HeartByrne, which pays tribute to Talking Heads and David Byrne, will take the stage to lead off the event. Seven-piece band funk and soul band, Diggin Dirt, will perform starting at 7 p.m.
Fourth of July Celebration
The first of two Fourth of July Concerts will start at 5:30 p.m. on July 3 with the band Magic Beans in a concert benefitting Mountain Mentors. Magic Beans, a group that incorporates elements of funk, R&B, rock, soul and country, will perform on the big stage at Main Street and First Avenue.
The second concert, slated for 4:30 p.m. on July 4, will feature West Coast soul music group, Orgone. Orgone will also be playing on the big stage at Main Street and First Avenue.
2025 Concerts in the Park lineup
Bands from a wide variety of musical genres, including bluegrass, rock, reggae, jam band, blues, Americana and more, are set to make up the Concerts in the Park lineup for 2025. Concerts are 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. each Thursday and are free to the public. Each week looks to highlight and benefit a Summit County nonprofit.
