5 p.m., Wednesday: The Frisco Water Division reported a water main break on Miners Creek Road in Frisco at 4:35 p.m.

According to the town, a private contractor working on a residence on Miners Creek Road hit a water main, resulting in a water shut down on Miner’s Creek Road, Little Chief Way, Alpine Drive and Larson Lane.

The town said it is hoping that the repair can be completed in four hours, but it may take until tomorrow morning depending on the break and subsequent repairs.

Additionally, water shut offs may also need to expand to other areas around Miner’s Creek Road/Little Chief Way/Larson Lane areas, depending on the resources and conditions needed for repairs, according to the town. Frisco Water staff plans to be on site until the repair is complete.
