Frisco seeking nominations for contest

FRISCO – The town of Frisco is seeking nominations for the Phenomenal Frisco Pride Week contests. The award winners will be honored at a June 7 luncheon at Chaz’s Place, the gazebo at the Frisco Historic Park.

Nominations are being accepted in three categories:

-Keep Frisco Phenomenal:

Recognizes new buildings, historical renovations, building improvements, etc. that add to the overall aestheticism or historical value of the town.

– Phenomenal Friscoite:

Outstanding volunteer in the community.

– Environmental Excellence:

An individual or business that contributes to the recycling effort or makes a special effort toward preservation of the environment. This is a joint award given by Frisco and the Summit Recycling Project.

To submit a nomination, please pick up an application from Frisco Town Hall or go online at and access the link on the news page. You will be asked to write a brief description of why you are nominating the businesses or individuals and what contribution they have made toward “Keeping Frisco Phenomenal.” All nominees must be Frisco (and surrounding areas) residents or businesses.
