Frisco streets to be closed for resurfacing

DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT

FRISCO – Frisco’s public works department will be roto-milling the side streets on both sides of Main Street in the core area from Madison to 7th Avenue on Thursday and Friday. Parking will be prohibited on the side streets from Main Street to Granite Street and Main Street to Galena Street for various time periods during the milling operation. Through-traffic will also be limited as the work continues. During the closure periods, business owners and employees are asked to use parking beyond the core areas and on the available side streets. The south side of Main Street will be closed June 8, followed by the north side on June 9. As each avenue is milled, it will be reopened for parking and through traffic. Limited access will be provided to enter Main Street from the south and north sides of town. Asphalt paving of the milled streets will take place the week following June 12 through 21, weather permitting. Updated road closure information will be posted on the town website: http://www.townoffrisco.com. For more information, call (970) 668-0836.
