Frisco to celebrate Fourth of July with Frisco Fabulous parade

FRISCO — Frisco will be celebrating Independence Day with its Frisco Fabulous 4th of July parade at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, July 4, on Main Street. The parade will begin at Madison Avenue and work its way east toward the Frisco Bay Marina.

There will be whacky floats, beautiful horses, classic cars and hundreds of kids on decorated bikes.

Parade prizes include trophies and cash:

  • Best Decorated Overall Float: 1st $500, 2nd $300 and 3rd $200
  • Best Decorated Business Float: 1st $300, 2nd $200 and 3rd $100
  • Best Decorated Nonprofit Float: 1st $300, 2nd $200 and 3rd $100
  • Best Decorated Wildcard Float: 1st $300, 2nd $200 and 3rd $100

For those interested in volunteering, the Frisco chapter of the Summit County Chamber of Commerce is looking for help manning the Beer Booth for two-hour shifts from 9:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 4. Those who are interested can call 970-368-4808.
