The housing lottery is for the Residences at Granite Park, a workforce housing project that Frisco collaborated on with the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The 11 units owned by Frisco are being offered to individuals who work a minimum of 30 hours a week in Summit County on an annual basis. Rents for the town-owned units are capped at those making 80% of the area median income, but rent amounts have been set at a level equal to 75% of the area median income.
Pre-screening applications are open now through Feb. 16 at 11:59 p.m. and can be completed at the Summit Combined Housing Authority website, SummitHousing.us. The lottery will be completed the night of Monday, Feb. 17, with results posted the following day. Residents may move in as soon as March 1.
There are two studio units available each with rents of about $1,600, six one-bedroom units available with rents of about $1,715 and three two-bedroom units available with rents of about $2,060, the release states.
