Frisco to present changes to cabin zoning requirements

FRISCO – The Frisco Planning Commission will meet Thursday to make a recommendation on proposed changes to the town’s Cabin Housing requirements of the Frisco Zoning Code.

The proposed changes will deal with density issues that have become prevalent since the project’s inception in November of 2008. Community Development Director Mark Gage will make a presentation on the proposed changes for the commission.

The Cabin Housing section of the code was adopted in response to concerns about the visual change occurring in Frisco, wherein smaller homes were being replaced with larger-scale projects.
