Frisco Town Council meeting Tuesday

Frisco Town Council will meet tonight to determine what type of staff facility to add to the Peninsula Recreation Area.

Phase one of the original master plan for the project did not call for a staff office and break space. The town’s four-person Recreation Department will be housed in the facility, along with up to 25 seasonal employees. Options range in price from $17,000 to $400,000, but town manager Michael Penny recommended a $119,950 used modular office facility as found through the Colorado Division of Housing.

An ordinance to renew the town’s mill levy at a rate of .798 – the same rate as in 2009 – will be up for a first reading, along with the appropriation of money to funds and spending agencies.
