Frisco: Volunteers needed for Beetlefest

Daily News staff report

The fourth annual Beetlefest will carve its way onto Frisco’s Main Street on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Join us for lumberjack shows, live music, the 4k Beetle Stomp Fun Run, a bug petting zoo, Slug Bug and more! Come and enjoy beer and food booths plus unique crafts, displays and products from forests devastated by the mountain pine beetle. The event benefits Friends of the Dillon Ranger District. Volunteers are needed for this exciting and zany festival. All volunteers will receive a free T-shirt. Contact Gail Culp at (970) 376-1008, or gailculp@aol.com to sign-up.
