‘Fuddy Meers’ opens Thursday

The Backstage Theatre presents “Fuddy Meers” on Thursdays through Sundays from March 17 to April 16. “Fuddy Meers” tells the tale of Claire who has a rare form of amnesia that erases her memory whenever she goes to sleep. This morning, like all mornings, she wakes up a blank slate. Unlike other mornings, however, she is soon kidnapped and the fun begins.It’s one harrowing and hilarious turn after another on this roller coaster ride through the day of an amnesiac trying to decipher her fractured life.This poignant and brutal new comedy traces one woman’s attempt to regain her memory while surrounded by a curio-cabinet of alarmingly bizarre characters.The show starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Breckenridge Theatre, located at 121 S. Ridge St. in Breckenridge. Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for children under 12. Champagne opening is on Saturday with complimentary champagne and hors d’oeuvres catered by Hearthstone.
