Fundraiser Sunday to benefit animals of Swan Center Outreach
The Silverthorne Elks Lodge will sponsor a breakfast fundraiser to benefit the animals and programs of Swan Center Outreach from 9 a.m. to noon June 10.
The center provides leadership and self-awareness programs using rescued horses that empower and support youth and adults in the achievement of their life goals while demonstrating the educational, therapeutic and spiritual value of a loving relationship with animals.
The event will feature live music from Randall McKinnon and Jim Shaw, a silent auction, and of course, breakfast.
Tickets are $10 pre-purchased, or $12 at the door. Children are $5 at the door.
Pre-purchased tickets may be obtained by calling Nancy Turner at (970) 333-2088 or the Elks Lodge at (970) 468-2561.
Tax deductible donations are also welcome.

Summit Daily is embarking on a multiyear project to digitize its archives going back to 1989 and make them available to the public in partnership with the Colorado Historic Newspapers Collection. The full project is expected to cost about $165,000. All donations made in 2023 will go directly toward this project.
