Galleries not thinking about town’s best interest

Richard Groffsky, Breckenridge

Here we go again. The position of the art galleries against the summer art fairs is narrow-minded and not in the best interest of the town of Breckenridge. I firmly believe that every other merchant appreciates the increased business attendant to these festivals, and for the gallery owners to complain about these few days out of the year can only be construed as the selfish complaints of those who can think only of themselves.Query: What do they think of the food and wine festivals and the crowds they bring? I guess they are great, since someone else’s business is the one to be affected.
