Garage sale for Tiny Tiger Den day care May 16

Summit High School’s Tiny Tiger Den invites the community to join an enormous garage sale on May 16. The event will put money in sellers’ pockets, raise money for the Tiny Tiger Den child care center and provide some great second-hand finds for buyers.

People can get involved by selling their own items or simply by attending the sale on the day of the event. Some sellers donate a portion of their proceeds, but donations are not required.

“Last year, it was a blast – and it was really busy,” event organizer Julie Scott said. “People were really psyched; a lot of them sold all of their stuff.”

The garage sale will take place

9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 16 in the Summit High School south parking lot. Participants must supply their own tables or blankets on which to display their items. Set-up begins at 7:30 a.m.

Anyone interested in selling their own items can reserve a site for only $15, with no size limit on sites. Contact Julie Scott at Summit Middle School at (970) 368-1259.
