Arapahoe Basin Ski Area’s fourth annual Pride celebration — Gay Basin — will take place from May 17-18.

As a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community in Summit County and beyond, the event will feature DJs, live bands, dancing, parades, skiing, apres and more. The event will begin as soon as the lifts begin spinning at 9 a.m. and will conclude at 4 p.m. each day.

Events on Saturday, May 17, will be spearheaded by a Pride parade and a Don Fuego DJ set. After the skiing wraps up on Saturday, skiers and riders are then invited to a Gay Basin afterparty at Outer Range Brewing Co. in Frisco. A limited time Gay Basin Extra Pale Ale will be served throughout the duration of the party.

Sunday will open with a Pride parade, then Play Haus will spin some tunes at the Black Mountain Lodge.
