Get the election coverage you want. Take the Voter Voices survey.

Survey responses help determine questions asked to candidates, generate story ideas and deepen our understanding of our audience

A statewide survey known as Voter Voices is helping news outlets provide voter-driven coverage and ask candidates questions on topics that Coloradans care about most.
Voter Voices

Voters are at the heart of every election. We want to know what issues most matter to you. Your hopes and concerns will set the agenda for how we report and write about the issues of the 2024 election.

As the election draws near, Summit Daily staff are brainstorming questions to ask candidates and trying to determine what ballot measures mean the most to readers. These responses will directly influence those decisions.

Please take a few moments to tell us what you think candidates should be talking about as they compete for your vote. We will use your contact information only to reach out if a reporter wants to better understand your comments. If you choose to remain anonymous, your name will not appear in any story.

Data will be sent to and analyzed by those leading the Voter Voices initiative, including the Colorado News Collaborative and Colorado Public Radio, and be accessible to reporters as they cover the 2024 election cycle. More than 30 newsrooms across the state are participating.

As a Summit Daily News reader, you make our work possible.

Summit Daily is embarking on a multiyear project to digitize its archives going back to 1989 and make them available to the public in partnership with the Colorado Historic Newspapers Collection. The full project is expected to cost about $165,000. All donations made in 2023 will go directly toward this project.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference.
