Gisela Hertrich: Education over landscaping

Gisela Hertrich

Kudos to you, Dr. Chang. I agree education is much more important than fancy medians. All of us moved to the mountains for the nature aspect and wildlife and not to have beautiful and manicured medians.

If the latter, why don’t all the people wanting the grass, flowers etc., like Denver Parks have, move back to the big cities?

I come from Europe and the schooling – from grade school through high school – is the best to be found. When we graduated from the highest level in high school, we had the same education (and more) as in the US after a two-year junior college.

All of my children went to school and university here, so I know what I’m talking about.
