Global Summit Celebration set for Thursday

Global Summit is celebrating four years of working to help integrate immigrants, refugees, and the receiving community of Summit County.

Numerous community projects and collaborations will be celebrated at the Global Summit Community Celebration at Silverthorne Pavilion on Thursday from 5-7:30 p.m.

The event will include free food, music, child care, and awards to numerous organizations for their work in community integration. The event will also present the results of the Summit County Immigrant Survey, in which over 200 immigrants have answered questions regarding access to healthcare, media, community involvement, food, housing and safety.
