Golf tourney to raise money for area kids

NRC Broadcasting will hold the inaugural “Bluegrass and Greens” Golf Tournament on Friday, Sept. 23 at The Raven Golf Course in Silverthorne. The golf tournament is the first of what is to become an annual fundraiser for a children’s organization in the area. The entry fee for the “Bluegrass and Greens” Golf Tournament is $100 per person, and includes 18 holes at The Raven, a boxed lunch, door prizes, live bluegrass music, and a barbecue following the tournament. There will also be a silent auction held with items such as glass artwork and a three-mountain ski pass.To sign up for the tournament, call (970) 453-2234. Sponsored by Sam Adams and Dependable Auto Glass.
