Good thing Wal-Mart’s staying

Tony FlitcraftFrisco

What a relief to learn that Wal-Mart has no plans to leave Frisco. Why, if it were to leave, think of the involuntarily extracted revenues to which Frisco town manager Michael Penny would no longer have access to give away and gain popularity among the locals. The whole Frisco political structure could suffer. Wait a minute. What’s the purpose of Frisco’s elected and appointed officials: 1) to accumulate wealth to distribute among the proletariat and enhance the influence of the bourgeoisie? or 2) to provide police and fire protection as well as other basic services better performed publicly, and to restrict people from injuring each other? Think about it.
