GOP women to hear about forest health

The Summit High Country Republican Women Speaker Series continues 11:45 a.m. Wednesday with a talk about forest health risks and the future of mountain communities.

It takes place at the Primavera Italian Eatery, 120 W. 10th St., Silverthorne.

Nancy Fishering, chairperson of the Colorado Forestry Advisory Board, will speak.



She is a member of the Public Lands Partnership, a group composed of county economic development departments, ranchers, off-road vehicle users, timber, local environmental groups and others who are concerned about public land policy.
