Green Mountain ice fishing contest set for Jan. 15


The Lower Blue Fire Protection District of Heeney and the Kremmling Chamber of Commerce will benefit from a Green Mountain Reservoir ice fishing contest to he held from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. followed by an awards ceremony at 4:30 p.m. at the Kremmling Town Park.The contest offers $1,500 in cash prizes for the top five fish. The cost to enter is $20. Kids 15 and under are free.There will be kids grab bag prizes, raffles and giveaways, including an Aqua-Vu under water camera system.For every Master Bait & Tackle registration, $1 goes toward the Lower Blue Fire Protection District. Participants can register can at the Fishing Hole in Kremmling; onsite at the north end of the reservoir from 6:30 a.m. to noon; by calling (877) 573-7926; or online at information, call the Kremmling Chamber of Commerce at (970) 724-3472.
