Greta McCormick: McAtamney brings real-person views to Breck

I met Jennifer McAtamney as a new teacher at Little Red back when we opened in 2005. Today I thank her for her hard work in child care, where she has helped bring livable salaries to our teachers and financial stability to our schools. She knew that to keep locals working here we needed great affordable care, so she ran for office, got elected and helped make huge changes in how our community looked at early childhood care. I also am thankful for her commitment to housing for locals. You see I was able to purchase a condo thanks in part to her efforts in making sure we have housing for all different incomes and situations. The vision of being a real community has resonance with Jennifer. She is raising her children here, has a business working with local neighborhoods, and brings a real person’s view to the council. She knows first hand what we need to make a go of it here in this beautiful community. I am glad her voice has been on town council for the last four years and urge you to vote for her to bring it back for another four years.
