Group to hold free child screenings

Summit County Child Find will hold its winter quarterly screening Monday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Summit Ed Center at 465 Brian Ave. in Silverthorne, where children will be screened for developmental delays. Each free screening will take about 30 minutes. A parent or designated caregiver may bring a child aged birth to 5 years to the appointment.The screening will determine the child’s development in the areas of speech/language, vision and hearing, motor abilities, learning abilities and social-emotional development.Please call for information or to register your child at (970) 668-3011.
