Hank Scott: Thanks to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office for saving my dog

Hank Scott

I would like to send a huge thanks out to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, their Water Rescue Team and the angels who spotted my little border collie (Maggie) the other day. She got away from my home today and ended up stuck in the middle of the Blue River near the Breck Rec Center.

The visitors who saw her trapped in the middle of the Blue River called the police and stayed to watch her for two hours, god bless you, while some very dedicated members of the sheriff’s office and the their Water Rescue Team went to work to save my puppy.

I absolutely love living in a place where the life of a silly (and very cute) little puppy affords a full-scale rescue. Maggie is doing fine, we gave her a warm bath and she is curling up with her owner, my daughter, in bed right now.

Thank you everyone.
